Aye that we do.

Not a bad one at that.

I think they are going about the health care issue all wrong...

But I have no problem with his skills as president.

Because rights are so only when exercised.

What exactly are you asking? Are you asking for an opinion of Obama's town hall today? If so why should I say what I feel about it, when it will only be seen as a leftist point of view with no value in a forum that pretty much has already decided nothing he says is of any value and everything he does is destroying the country.

Because I do not agree with the Health Care proposals as they are now... Does not mean I do not agree with him.

Or value him less.

I haven't seen where you valued him at all so far. But I could have missed something along the way. Did you not just recently say he was a liar when he misspoke about AARP? Have you not said that nothing he has done so far is the right thing to do, or have I completely misread you? If I have, I sincerely apologize.

I consider misspoke to be a spin word. Yes that is a lie.

You could find many instances where I did speak of him as having done the right thing... for that instance.

I will not tar him yet with the brush I have for congress. They need to be run out of town.

I am a member of AARP and get their magazines. He repeated today that AARP is onboard with healthcare reform. Which is probably what he meant to say the other day, though I can't remember his exact words the other day. I didn't see spin and watching just about every news outlet on tv for the past 2 years, I pretty much know spin when I hear it.

I think there are snakes on both sides of the isle and I am grateful for this health issue because the snakes are becoming obvious, and their willingness to flat out lie makes them very visible. However I do not think everyone in congress is bad.

Obama has all the presidential skills. He lies, and serves free kool aid. Wow what a great man!

I dont have a problem with healthcare reform

I do have a problem with ginning something up with no time to study it just so they can say they did something

I would rather take a year and craft a logical reasonable plan that makes sense for the American people

Considering the opposition to this in any form, let alone one with a public option, give it a year and the opposition will kill it all together. I think we really underestimate the power of those against this reform and against this president. We yell and scream about lobbyists and special interests, and yet when it comes to this issue of health care all of a sudden we don't even consider them a threat to our best interest at all. Instead we prefer to believe that Obama is taking away our rights and that he's out to kill our grandparents among other outrageous nonsense.

We the people would actually go against our own best interest because we are so suspicious and so mistrustful of this particular president we prefer to cut off our own nose to spite our face. I've never seen anything like it.

On the contrary sir.

I understand their power quite well. If we remove the control module from their 'engine'...(i.e. get rid of politians that they feed) and they will NEED to plow their profits into the american economy our lose them. (How much money do those corporations WASTE each year filling the trough-billions $?).

You may understand that, but the general public that are acting out at town halls who haven't even done their own homework before going and asking questions they should already know the answer to, are not considering it.

And by the way, no big deal, but I am not a Sir...

I am not mistrustful of this president...

I mistrust a congress that has members who have been seated to long... and are acting like english lords and not american citizens.

I believe that what ever they decide for health care be first tested on congress and the senate (with the same standards they want to use to test it on us).

But first and foremost... It is time to IMPEACH some congresspersons... across the board and reguardless of party.

This was all avoidable... If they had sown their pockets shut and did the job they were supposed to be doing... YEARS AGO!

I would say there are some in both the congress and senate that need to go, especially when they are caught in a flat out lie. And on both sides. As for this health care first being tested on congress and the senate, that's the lastest republican stunt to take the news off Grassley and others that are flat out telling lies to their constituants and the media.

This will be a full blown circus before it's all said and done and frankly I see the whole thing going down the way the Clinton plan went down. I don't think the democrats have the guts to go this alone if the republicans remain dead set against it. And if it comes out watered down they might as well have done nothing at all. There will just be more loop holes for the corporate interests to drive right through so they can continue to get larger and larger premiums.
