Blind Dreams

Do the blind dream in color?
Or is the pattern mearly texture and sound?
The raindrops falling to earth,
Or footsteps pacing the ground.
How does one illustrate what one can not see?
Wind for example, or the love of a mother.
It exists because it is felt,
and made real by another.
If the loss of a sense makes us blind,
aren't we all but disabled?
Incomplete souls wandering the earth,
if only whole in dreams.
Does our dreams show us our utopia?
Our perfect moral egos...
Or do we lable them off as nightmares
when our true selves are shown?
To many walk with their eyes tightly closed.
Open thy hearts! The truth will be exposed!
Guidance of light, delight in the dark,
The feelings we felt, not images, will make its mark!

I honestly never knew you could write like that.......It's amazing and
very thought provoking.

But my poetry has just been something I do...for me.
