100% correct........

Certain medications will tell you on the info they give, that it could
cause you to think suicidal thoughts.....But that's mainly in the
younger crowd.

It's hard sometimes to just go without taking anything at all,
especially if it's really bad......Some people truly need that
medication in order to go throughout their day......My ex had to. (And
now that I think about it, I think he was bi polar) But anyway, if you
are suffering from ANYTHING on this type of topic...Depression, Anxiety,
etc.......Don't let the doctors put you on pills right away...Sometimes
just talking to someone might help. Once you're on those pills, certain
ones at least, it's hard to get off. One of the ones I'm on will cause
seizures if I stop cold turkey.

I think it would be such a great idea to have a medical thread on
here...........For people who suffer from Depression, Anxiety, Bi Polar,
Manic Depression, Etc.............

I tried to kill myself several times in my younger years but realizing
that Jesus was not going to let me off the hook that easy I quit trying
because I knew that it would not do me any good.

It states right in the Bible that if suicide happens, you go straight to
hell.......Unless of course, you're not in your right state of mind and
are in a serious mental state.

I've never tried to kill myself, but I've had thoughts run through my
head...........This is good that we're getting this all out. A lot of
people (and my friends) don't know all that much about me.....Especially
things like this.

well anything to keep someone from taking alife my book of poetry, I
wrote about the depression in it poems to help others who might be in
the situration I was before I totally became obedient to Christ

I write a lot of Christian poems too, Wonder...........They help a lot,
sometimes.

I also take meds for depression, and anti anxieity. works for me....
Just a note here, they may also ruin your sex life.

I want to use my past experience to help others who might be going
through the same thing

Jack, I could not agree more with that statement!!!!!!

It ruined it with my ex, because of the meds he was on.......I was fine,
he was not...

Now that I'm on them, I see what he meant by, "No sex
drive"............It sucks..........I'm too young for this crap. LOL

Well Wonder, my experiences started back in 2005.......And just
continued from there.........

It's quite a long story, but to put it in a nut shell, I had a
miscarriage of twins in 05', I got very sick in March of 06', And went
through a break up of 3 years with someone I was engaged to, while I was
still sick. I ended up in the hospital, and if I didn't go, I would've
died.........That's also when I found out I had Anxiety............I'm
better now though and I'm moving on with my life, making new friends and
everything.

I have never actually really tried to kill myself cuz I know what that
would do to my mother..but I HAVE considered it many many times

Don't worry Lady, you have friends here that you can talk to, if you
ever need someone........You're not alone.

We all have our testimonies kitten the things that make us weak help
strenghten us in the end, does not matter what is our weakness what
matters is what we do to overcome it

I think the problem w/a board about depression, etc., is the liability
of the people who own the site. Some people don't respect the rules and
put up suicide threats; then, what is the responsibility of the site
owners. I know this has been a problem on other sites.
