Topic: Grace vs Law

Scenario: You are pulled over by a police officer for doing 55 in a
school zone. The Law states that you get a $200 ticket for speeding in
a school zone.

Law: You get a $200 ticket.

Grace: The police officer gives you $200 and sends you on your way.

If you are under Law, you will be punished according to the Law. The
Law states that you must die for any transgressions of the Law.

Grace isn't just forgiveness of sin, Grace is literally "Undeserved
favor". Receiving grace means that you not only don't get the
punishment you deserve, but you receive undeserved blessings.

Suppose this was to happen.

Because you think that you have been given Grace forever and not for
that instance you speed away even faster hit a slower moving vehicle and
kill someone. Have you then accepted the Grace that was offered you.
Nay you have chosen the wide gate and the easy way and your choice may
damage others. Grace does not absolve you of the law.

For grace is not here is 200 dollars and no ticket.

I say to you that Grace is the narrow way. The straight gate to
salvation.
In the context of this story Grace is 'I clocked you above the speed
limit. I give you grace this time. go thou and speed no more.' And
the ticket is not given you but God. In the day you stand before him
judgement is his, and Grace. If you have used it all in getting there
how then do YOU believe he should deal with you. For God will judge but
by your judgement will he judge you.

AdventureBegins,

The example was meant to show the difference between Law and Grace, not
explain the whole process of salvation. I don't believe in eternal
salvation. I believe that it's a constant process, that you have to try
to follow the law daily. When Jesus said "Go and sin no more", he
didn't mean "Never commit a single sin", he was telling her to avoid
sin. You cannot live a sin free life, it's just not humanly possible.
But you should hate sin and avoid sin whenever you can.

Aye and once again I will say but this.

The wide gate.

I shall stay upon the narrow for the gate might be smaller but the air
is sweeter. And Grace can be found in both.

I guess i should take a black marker and black these verses out..

John 8:11

And Yahshua said to her, "Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more
."
NKJV
or....

James 2:8-3:1

8 If you really fulfill the royal law according to the Scripture, "You
shall love your neighbor as yourself," you do well; 9 but if you show
partiality, you commit sin, and are convicted by the law as
transgressors. 10 For whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble
in one point, he is guilty of all. 11 For He who said, "Do not commit
adultery," also said, "Do not murder." Now if you do not commit
adultery, but you do murder, you have become a transgressor of the law.
12 So speak and so do as those who will be judged by the law of liberty.
13 For judgment is without mercy to the one who has shown no mercy.
Mercy triumphs over judgment.

14 Faith Without Works Is Dead

(cf. Gen 22; Josh 2:1)

What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does
not have works? Can faith save him? 15 If a brother or sister is naked
and destitute of daily food, 16 and one of you says to them, "Depart in
peace, be warmed and filled," but you do not give them the things which
are needed for the body, what does it profit? 17 Thus also faith by
itself, if it does not have works, is dead.

18 But someone will say, "You have faith, and I have works." Show me
your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.
19 You believe that there is one Elohim. You do well even the Demons
believe----- and Tremble. But do you want to know, O foolish man, that
faith without works is dead? 21 Was not Abraham our father justified
by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? 22 Do you see that
faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made
perfect? 23 And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, "Abraham
believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness." And he was
called the friend of Elohim. 24 You see then that a man is justified by
works, and not by faith only.

25 Likewise, was not Rahab the harlot also justified by works when she
received the messengers and sent them out another way?

26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is
dead also.
NKJV
Acts 15:19-21
Therefore I judge that we should not trouble those from among the
Gentiles who are turning to YHWH, 20 but that we write to them to
abstain from things polluted by idols, from sexual immorality, from
things strangled, and from blood. 21 For Moses has had throughout many
generations those who preach him in every city, being read in the
synagogues every Sabbath."
NKJV
I wonder why Old testament law breakers are quoted here?
It is strange what the geniles are told and that they will learn more
in the synagogues on the SABBATH ( oh no can't be true) because Moses is
taught every SABBATH.. Someone is lying..huh
Deut 12:23-26
23 Only be sure that you do not eat the blood , for the blood is the
life; you may not eat the life with the meat. 24 You shall not eat it;
you shall pour it on the earth like water. 25 You shall not eat it, that
it may go well with you and your children after you, when you do what is
right in the sight of Yahweh.
NKJV
It is amazing if society believed what the bible says then would we have
Aids. Would we eat meat that was not completely cooked with no blood.
How many times now relative recently been told if you cook your meat
well done thier is no woryy about getting samanlia poisining ect.. If we
would only believe Yahweh is the same yesterday, today and tommorrow.
That Yahweh did not make a mistake that he is Holy and Just and True we
would not have so many denominations and problems as we have now.

Rom 3:9-21

What then? Are we better than they? Not at all. For we have previously
charged both Jews and Greeks that they are all under sin.
10 As it is written:
"There is none righteous, no, not one; 11 There is none who
understands; There is none who seeks after YHWH. 12 They have all turned
aside; They have together become unprofitable; There is none who does
good, no, not one." 13 "Their throat is an open tomb; With their tongues
they have practiced deceit"; "The poison of asps is under their lips";
14 "Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness." 15 "Their feet are
swift to shed blood; 16 Destruction and misery are in their ways; 17 And
the way of peace they have not known." 18 "There is no fear of YHWH ( i
thought the fear of YHWH was the beginning of knowledge)before their
eyes."
19 Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are
under the law, that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may
become guilty before YHWH. 20 Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh
will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
2
NKJV
THE LAW IS THE KNOWLEDGE OF SIN!!!!! If the law is done away then i am
free to do whatever i want and we should not judge one who murders our
families and rapes our children for by no law then they have done no
wrong. RIGHT!!!
We condemn oursellves saying Yahweh messed up.
What exactly does this mean Jeremiah said the same thing...
Heb 8:8-12
He says: "Behold, the days are coming, says YHWH, when I will make a new
covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah — 9 not
according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when
I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because
they did not continue in My covenant ( who did not keep the agreement?),
and I disregarded them, says Yahweh. 10 For this is the covenant that I
will make with the house of Israel after those days, says YHWH: I will
put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be
their Elohim, and they shall be My people. 11 None of them shall teach
his neighbor, and none his brother, saying, 'Know the Master,' for all
shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them. 12 For I
will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their
lawless deeds I will remember no more."
NKJV
When will we learn to just believe and Obey? Miles
