"I would love to hear what you have to say in response to wux. "
Did you read any of the other posts here? I answered him right below his query. WUX please read this page: http://www.geocities.com/jussaymoe/future/future.htm bigbytes |

Exactly! Yes, of course I read your post - but I would still like to hear you elaborate in response to wux. You know, more like a conversation, and less like spam directing me to another site. I'm just stating my preferences - its totally appropriate for people with different desires to ignore my preferences. |

Well I took the time to read your links. I thought the parts about Ronald Reagan and Bob Marley especially insightful into your "perspective". There was little information of any scientific value.
Good luck with your self promotions, or whatever this is. |

While a lot of people are not interested...or skeptical...or uninformed; whatever, I found your topic informative and interesting and this knowledge has probably been lost for centuries. I'm glad you were able to put the "coincidences" together that may help mankind someday.

i predict set 18th will come at the ending of sept 17th

I don't predict, but I do hope that no hurricane will hit us on that day

So, in a rough line there will be Uranus, the earth, the Moon, Mercury, the Sun and Saturn. I have to admit not being very knowledgeable about the subject matter but find this interesting. I have 2 questions. When was the last time this occurred? Were there any natural disasters that happened at that time?...... |

OK, here is my prediction... Bugger all of any significance will happen on September 18th. Lets see who is right.. Ur wrong!! i finish my work on that date!! |

all those planets are much too far for their gravity to effect ours. period. everything that happens in the cosmos affects us.... The barycenter is not a single point in the Sun. Because the Sun is a rotating gaseous sphere, the barycenter forms a vertical, cylindrical "sleeve" that is partially inside and outside the main solar body. All of the planets have such a "sleeve," one inside the other, depending on their relative mass and the location of their barycenters. The particular sleeve representing the mass of Jupiter intersects the solar surface at 35.9 degrees North and South. This is precisely where sunspot and flare activity begin and end during each 11 year cycle. The new cycle has already begun with the recent observation of a solar spot with reverse polarity. But some surprising activity on March 27, 2008, showed some huge eruptions with M-class radiation at about the equatorial region of the Sun. [ See Solar Map]. These surprising eruptions suggests a barycenter of disturbance from an object even more massive than Jupiter, placing the "sleeve" outside the Sun. Could this be the beginning of the Galaxy's effects) on our Sun? Scientists have noted that when Jupiter and Saturn are aligned on the same side of the Sun, the solar maximum (the period when we have the most sunspots and flares) is at its weakest; when they are on opposite sides of the Sun the solar maximum is at its strongest. The positions of these two planets on December 21, 2012 are ideal for extreme solar activity. ------another artical Some people have claimed that when the alignments of the planets happens, their increased gravity wreck havoc on Earth. That is not true. The alignment will not increase their gravity or combine the effects of their gravity. The gravity that Mars or Venus impact on Earth is insignificant and would be impossible to measure. The same goes for the planets that are even further away. The gravity of Jupiter (the planet with the most gravity in our solar system) has no effect on Earth. The closest Jupiter ever gets to Earth is 365 million miles. The effects of its gravity is weaker and weaker as you move away from it. After 365 million miles, there is almost nothing left to feel. So, the alignment of planets will not cause something bad to happen on Earth. |

Looks like you were right within a few days. There have been some pretty bad cyclones and now an 8.0 earthquake in the Pacific.
...and now today a 7.6 magnatude in Indonesia. What's next?
Jimi Hendrix died Sept. 18 1970.
Nothing happened. The earthquakes are typical and there is less than normal hurricane activity.

I figure one is not likely to succeed in reasoning with people who, as grown adults, are out looking for verification of a prediction using events which happen on a regular basis anyway and are eager to give 'a few days' fudge factor, after the fact, just to make those normal events seem to fit a prediction.
Joseph and Metal - thanks for standing up for sense and reason; I often forget that its not always about the people you are addressing, but the unseen audience who may give them unwarranted credibility. |

Yet another 7.6 in Indonesia....thats three in three days! ...on top of 3 cyclones in the south Pacific in the last month. Just normal occurances.
