I'm with you on not creating divisions, Zapcatcher, AND I do like
cultural variety and multiple languages.

How about we realize that we are all a member of the same species? Now
that is an idea that I'd like to see adopted. We are all human beings,
first and foremost.

The language problem will only be resolved with a single worldwide
auxiliary language.

Not english.
Not spanish.
Not german.
Not chinese

etc..

But a human language.

Course I answer you. When it is necessary.

It would of course take many years lots of squabbling probabally (given
the fact we are human) some riots, gnashing of teeth, gunfire, and other
such nonsense.

but it can be done.

I may be starry eyed about the possibilities but I also know what it
will take to get there.

reality is , it is not a perfect world, there are the ways we wish it to
be, then there are the ways that it is.

human race language of what AB love. listen Im all for treating our
fellow humans with all the respect that they deserve, but the oint is
this, i will never go into your home and demand that you speak to me in
anything but the language of your house, but thats just me, to bad
others feel it is our obligation to change america back into their
homelands,,,, its america, not where ever their from, if it was so
wonderful there then why have they left and decided to change that
aspect of their lives. and if their willing to changew such a huges part
of their life why not learn the language, hell the immigration process
alone takes so long that they really should have ample amount of time to
pick up on it here anyway, so by the time they are able to vote, their
ready to vote.

All humans? Physically, yes, we have established that. Perhaps you
stepped out for a moment when the motion passed. The problem we have is
with differing views, values, and dreams. Not gonna change that no
matter how many incense sticks are lit to cover the smell of the bong
water. Sorry, I am not a surrealist, but if that helps someone live a
day longer then go for it. You enjoy your walk. The rest of us will seek
ways, right or wrong, to make the world better. But at least we'll try
rather than sitting on our hands flapping our jaws like a PEZ
dispenser.grumble

Oh don't get me wrong.

The language of this part of America should be english.

I did not say a Primary Language.

I said an Auxiliary Language. One that everyone knows but is not a
replacement of their home language just a way to communicate in anothers
home.

Our politicians would have a hard time with a language of love.
Wouldn't fit very well with what they have to do to stay in office.

Politicians have to be able to smile affably while shaking hands with
the one party on the right hand (as their assassin sneaks up on
them)and at the same time jerk off the other party with the left
hand(for which there is probably an assassin waithing in the wings).

karizman...I think we have reached a watershed moment in the US..I
believe the
population realizes that there is no difference between the Dems &
Repubs....
even though Ron Paul is a republican..he is essentially a
constitutionalist..or
libertarian...IF...people are allowed to hear what he says..and LOOKS at
his record
they will see him as the only viable choice...so I see this as a 3rd
party movement
because the PTB are definiitely afraid of Ron Paul..

so I will be beating my drum till the elections...
