The hours pass by and I still fail to sleep.
These thoughts are out of control and running deep.

A parade of questions are clouding my mind
And a glance at the clock lets me know there's still time.

When, where, why and how?
I've never demanded answers like I am doing right now.

What was it exactly that had me hating him so young?
What was it exactly that kept his name off my tongue?

Where was his conscious through this whole ordeal?
Or does he not possess one since it's evident he doesn't feel?

Why didn't he ever speak that one important phrase?
It is the one question that always has me in a haze.

And last, but not least:
( This last one is a beast)

How did I end up with a "father" like you?
It is not I, but you who needs a psychiatric review.
