Trying to figure out why I have been suffering severe panic attacks for almost 4 months.
Not much has changed in my activities.
I still take all the same meds I've been on for about 3 years.
I did have an MRI done and being stuffed into that tube was pretty traumatic. But, that was a year ago.
Also, I accidentally gave myself botulism and was in the hospital overnight.
Now, after going to the ER twice, my Dr and a shrink have me on a light script of alprolazam and 25 mg of sertriline. I'm supposed to do 50mg but, it makes me physically ill.
Anyone else suffer from panic? If you do, what do you do to maintain?

For me it was after a traumatic experience. And stress causes them I've had 6 really strong ones thought I was having a heart attack after the last one got on meds and haven't been having any. Plus blood pressure pills they are all lite doeses and do the job.

I had panic attacts for awhile ..about a year...from stress..I would start shaking really bad and if I was driving I'd have to pull over and upchuck...Dr.put me on antidepressants...but that was even worse..Finally just willed myself out of them.

I think putting your focus and thoughts on good things rather than negative things helps, helps me anyway...that book Winx referred to is a good idea.

I meditate, breath... there is something to be said about the ole saying,
count to three.

Yeap I agree it is like word exercise. Push on the negative bring in the possitive.

Have to laugh at that new pic maybe your working on it already.
