I take off Thursday morning. Friday, very early, we leave for Denver. Gathering there is Friday evening to Sat. night. Then we drive back to IA Sunday. I'll spend some time seeing the sights then head back Wed.

True! There is just so much to see in Loess Hills area. About 3 years ago, My field Biology class camped there for a weekend and took in a lot of the sites and attractions...our final was to write a paper about the weekend.... Rough class huh? The whole class was field trips twice a week doing all kinds of fun stuff!

By the looks of the radar, Tim is getting slammed now. Lots of damage from this storm in Iowa! Hope Cedar Radids does OK. thats not good! We were under warnings today too and now the air is so thick you can barely breathe. |

We were under warnings today too and now the air is so thick you can barely breathe. We got 70 mph, but I didn't have any damage either. Can't say the same for poor Eldora! I thought the storms had passed but a bolt of lightening hit somewhere VERY close a few minutes ago......shook the whole house and things fell in my pantry!!!!! Just soft rain now. |
