Any fans of the show out there? I need some info about a specific episode- season unknown. It was all about the gangs here in Chicago, and they interviewed a former co-worker of mine, Adrian Sandoval.

I've been trying to find out which specific episode he's on, so that I don't have to download them all to look, and imdb.com doesn't give much info on the show.

Any help will be appreciated.

The major gang in Chi-town would be the "Latin Kings"- they've been around since my pop was a teenager back in the mid-sixties.

As far as which particular episode spotlighted the gangs of Chicago, you'd have to check with the History Channel's website at History.com.

Thanks, sb, and moofooga. I went all through imdb, history channel, and a few password sites I know looking for info on the specific episode, but can't find any. I guess I have to write them.

Moof. I worked corrections at Cook county jail for almost 9 years. I know the kings, the gds', the bd's, the 4ch's. I covered up a tattoo I got in the army because it was a cobra, and they're another gang here. It's the biggest jail in the free world, holding about 11,000 inmates in one location( but many buildings). LA county has more inmates, but they have two locations.

The last full year I worked there (2001), we had over 110,000 inmates process through the doors. I worked Max for a little over 7 years before getting bitter.

Yeah- if worst comes to worst, you'll just have to bite the bullet and get the seasonal box-sets of the show. However, since the show hasn't been on for all that long, I don't think you'll go broke trying to get them... you can get all three seasons for around sixty bucks online.

Of course, you'll ALSO have to contend with whether or not the online store at History.com will even have the box-sets in stock- they're the worst when it comes to not having stuff they have advertised as "for sale".

I know this is true because I did special effects for a couple of shows that played on the History Channel ("Shootout!", "The Way of the Gun"), and trying to even buy copies of the shows I did stuff on was like pulling teeth. The production companies wouldn't cough up so much as the unedited footage I could use for my demo reel, and the online store only had their most popular shows constantly stocked.

I know where to find that episode...lol I think History wanted 130 bucks for each season, and they're on season 4 now.. Not that important to me..

I watched those episodes, I think. They tried to debunk some of the shooting rumors, and show how things could not have happened.
Maybe you could have it written into your contracts that you get one copy of the finished show under the agreement that it won't be shown to anyone before the original airing.
