So how was the show? He's playing this week at the Jackson County Fair in Michigan...$30 a ticket.

Coooop.... Still puts on a great show...

The show was great! Solid music and show, front to back. No banter/filler in between songs. Lots of older/more obscure stuff that I was surprised he played in concert, like "Dwight Fry", "Cold Ethyl", and "Nurse Rosetta".
Was kinda surprised he didn't do "Feed My Frankenstein", or "House Of Fire". Conversely, I was PLEASANTLY surprised he wove in "I Never Cry" and "Only Women Bleed" into his set! |

"Diamonds" and "Billion Dollar Babies"
For "Diamonds", he threw out strings of silver Mardi Gras beads to the crowd (I got one). For "Billion Dollar Babies", he had about 500 fake $20 bills skewered onto a fencing sword that he fanned out over the audience (I missed getting one of those). |
