Because most people who say it..aren't man/woman enough to admit their feelings when it comes to wanting to get outta the situation they are in.

what they say is (its not you its me) line. its very simple and middle school knowledge that this saying means its really you. thats why they say that easy dump line.

I think it really is the truth because you say that when you don't know why you can't continue the relationship. It isn't so much that something is wrong with the person. It's that you know you don't want to string that person along. I would rather have someone say it's them rather than me; especially when they really are the reason it isn't working for them. Yeah?
