Sotomayor is of Puerto Rican descent and was born in the Bronx/NY.

She graduated from Princeton University and then Yale Law School in the 70's. Her credentials are quite long.

I don't understand why you don't think she's American.



proto ricans don,t apply for citizenship because they don,t need to . they have have most of the rights we do but avoid some taxes by not becoming one . they vote to stay a protectorate of the usa to avoid taxes they have had and still do have the right to become a independent country or a state but always stay a protectorate to avoid the taxes ... but they can collect any thing the government trows back to us . but you can see one of the things at election time . they can,t vote directly for a president for example .
you know when you run around calling everyone a racist the word becomes meaningless.
