Topic: Are comfort foods demonic in nature? | |
---|---|
Smothered burritoes and pizza are my favorite comfort foods. I don't really do candy too much or chips.
I do love vanilla ice cream with bananas and chocolate sauce, yummy |

I think it isn't that comfort foods are demonic it's the heavenly nature of the feelings produced by consuming those comfort foods that causes us to derail our diets.
Good, whole foods can produce those feelings as well. One that isn't quite as good that is a joyful indulgence for me are baby back BBQ'd ribs, yummy! And Try, I know just what you mean about Twizzlers, you can't eat just one! |

Probably the most fattening ever... so I try to require comfort in moderation. My great-grandmother used to make cream cheese and green olive sandwiches... mmmmm.

Probably the most fattening ever... so I try to require comfort in moderation. My great-grandmother used to make cream cheese and green olive sandwiches... mmmmm. You found me! Thanks for dropping in. I must confess, that I have a jones for Doritos! That is, until they discontinued the "Habanero" flavor. Rats! I know a lady whose husband works for the company which makes Doritos. She came by my office one day with some Doritos which tasted exactly like they each had ground beef on them! OMG...they were so good. And EVIL! The other kind was good, too...now they're on the market..."Late Night Jalapeno" something or other, in a green bag. |

I went to a party once... some Native American friends of mine. They did the most interesting things with Doritos. A layer of Top Ramin, then a layer of original Doritos, then a layer of melted cheese dip, topped with jalapenos! Apparently it's called jailhouse nachos. It was actually pretty good!
