Welp... D day has arrived for me to see the surgeon about the growth on my face. Oh my goodness how bad could it be... I gave birth to four kids and I'm sure it will be nothing. I don't even know if they will remove this growth but I think the doc would spare me some anxiety if he just took it off today. I just wish my doc would have agreed with me when I said "Oh I think this is just a skin tag growing above my eyebrow" but he didn't seem to know what it was. Anyway sorry for rambling on today. I'm a bit nervous about this. It stinks having to wait until after lunch to go.

I'm back from my appt and thank goodness he took care of it today. He told me he is 99.9999% sure that he cut it deep enough that even if it was cancer he's sure he got it. He sent it on to pathology to make sure it isn't cancer. So I came home with this black mark on my forehead and my son told me I looked like an Indian. They had to cauterize (burn) it after cutting it off so this is why it's black. Anyway I am relieved it's over with!

Now you know why I love teaching Kindergarten so much!! Once I had a little girl tell me that she loved to hug me cuz I am sooooo "FLUFFY". Ya gotta love em!!

I start my Student Teaching on August 24th. I am a bit nervous to say the least. Scarest part is being without pay til Janurary! Send up prayers for me that I will be able to make it. I just got notice that they cut my student aid by a whole lot. I was counting on that to pay my ulities and morgage. Da%# government!! Oh well, God got me this far since Bernie died to not let me finish this journey!

My new job keeps me on my toes! I am a jack of all trades. The day flew by again today. At recess I have one little boy that follows me around like he is the announcer for a WWF wrestling match. He has done this two days in a row. I have been working with the principal, secretaries, and teachers. I am now on an intervention team and we meet for half an hour a day to build on the childrens reading, writing and math skills. I am part of the success team. I will rotate between classes of children in 2nd grade. I back up basic skills of basic fundamentals. I can't wait till Monday now. Don't get me wrong I love my weekends but I love this new job. I am blessed.

I had a Fairy party for all of my granddaughters last spring, now tonight is my 3 grandson's turn.

Sorry I've been MIA. Been puttin' in some extra hours at work. So tired of living pay check to pay check, but I know I'm not alone, and at least I have a job, so it could be so much worse.

Sounds like everyone has been busy.

Summer's almost over, hard to believe, but autumn is one of my favorite times of year and I'm ready for it. Love the weather and the smells of autumn and then there's FOOTBALL!!
