I slide silky skin between satin sheets and slip into the sweetness of slumber. In the protective cocoon of dreams I see you in my minds eye. You are faceless and shapeless but your qualities shine brighter than orian's starry belt. I can taste your kiss on my lips all warmth and honey and feel the strength of your shoulders beneath my fingers as your arms shelter me. Your eyes search for me alone as your soul calls to mine in the darkness. Two halfs both lost and alone but searching for the place and the time that we will meld. Your honor and honesty know no bounds nor even a breath of betrayal fills your body. You are light in darkness in a world gone black and bleak of hope and heart. I feel joy just to gaze upon you and laughter rushes to bubble from my kiss swollen mouth in sheer delight. We walk, your hand in mine, our hearts so in tune that they beat with the same pulse beneath the skin. An echo and a continuance combined. Our story has endured since time began and will continue until the last star has fallen from the sky. And while we often walk seperate paths we remain together as the whole. Two hearts, two halfs, one whole. By night I dream of such a love and by days light I yearn for such a love. Somewhere across the span of time I shall find such a love for I shall never fail to keep an open heart and search for the sound of a soul that echo's mine own~
