Yup, hate the allergies. And unfortunately, I can't take most anti-histamine based allergy meds, they give me awful nosebleeds.

If you haven't tried a neti pot, they can help with short-term relief. No drugs, just basically rinses your sinues to help keep them clear. |

You can google it to see what it looks like but it's basically a little pot that enables you to squirt warm water up your nose (it's not nearly as bad as it sounds). You tilt your head, pour the water in one side and it comes out the other, rinsing out pollen, bacteria, etc. It's a little messy but feels pretty good and it does give relief from symptoms. It's been used in Asia for about 2000 years, just getting more common here in the states.

Neti pot made me gag

Neti pot made me gag It did me, too, the first time. I had to learn how to use one when I had surgery on my sinuses to remove scar tissue. Once you get the hang of it, though, it's great. |

I take too much allergy medication I'm addicted to sudafed. Sucks now, they treat everyone who buys it like a criminal and a lot of places don't even sell it anymore. The stuff you get off the shelves doesn't work for me. Blows |

This is the first year that I've ever suffered from allergies...& frankly, I'm not amused... |
