I have some friends complaining they are so uncomfortable with themselves because of cellulite (thighs, boobs, middle part of the body and legs). I do not know what to tell them but adviced them to change their diets and exercise. What's your thoughts?

No one ever gets cellulite from eating healthy....getting off the couch... You can lead a horse to water...but, you can't make it do the right things for it's self.

That won't help everybody. Overweight people may not have it and skinny people may have it. Heredity and the elasticity in one's skin have something to do with it too. It can also happen with aging.

my thought initially is that you were masking as one of your friends...my advice to them is to not worry about it - people change as they age - if by chance your friends solve the cellulite problem another problem will arise - seems it's cellulite for women and balding for men - whip de do da...

true..heredity indeed does play into the equation...so does making concentrated efforts to maintaining ones body...or choosing to not maintain it.

Many things factor in. I will say..I personally find the people to put at least SOME effort into looks...look way better looking than the people who just don't try.

But...sometimes no matter what people do, it just stays there. A healthy skinny person can have it and not be able to do anything about it. Btw, I don't have any and I'm not skinny.

I don't have any mylsef and thank goodness!
But they are spending too much expensive advertise cream to rid of cellulite/s.... I don't think they are effective. I think exercise and eating more fruits helps than that cream thing...

From everything that I've read, cutting back on fat and aerobic exercise helps the best but does not necessarily fix it.

I think that creams are a joke and liposuction has too many health risks.

I say, "Thank goodness", that I don't have it either.laugh
