Today I was awaken,
Yet I was not asleep, The darkness has been taken, And the lightness began to creep. She did it without knowing, She had no thought in mind, She woke my inner spirit, With the words she spoke so kind. Her laugh has taken me upward, Her smile makes me soar, She never saw it coming, But I'm glad I opened the door.
