The UN. They ***** and whine then make us do most of the dirty work and foot most of the bill. They prolong more wars than they prevent!

Los Angeles Environmental Health. What the hell do they do exactly? Enforce what??

NASA: want to get it into orbit? How much exactly just to get past the committee? The amount of money would stagger you. Consider this, Virgin spent 20 million to build a prototype spacecraft that succeeded in winning the 10 million X prize. 20 million would not even get past the NASA committee. Still a private company managed to pull off what NASA spends billions on for a massively small fraction of the cost.

Bureau of Indian affairs! Need I say more?

TSA!: They harbored a lot of crime rather than prevent it. Found stuff missing in your luggage when you flew recently? It ran really deep in LAX.

Homeland Security: God if this was not an agency that was more akin to Rube Goldberg engineering than a practical answer to a security issue facing this country.

Immigration: Why the hell do we need them if we are not going to enforce Immigration laws!

So who else can cite useless bureaucracy?

You forgot the legislative branch, the judicial branch and the executive branch.

I'll agree with you except for the Indian affairs...

They are the first Americans and their concerns should not be pushed under the rug...there are many artifact issues, burial grounds issues and such that should not be forgotten and some are still on the table.

I think the one thing that pisses me off the most is the ineffective regulations and ineffectual government agencies supposedly here to protect us. What is worst is when people ride loopholes to do bad things to others and get away with it.

Our leadership is a tragic joke no one other than foreigners laugh at!

Lots need to be worked on and lots are useless things but i still like it better then the options.

If I could get the necessary personnel behind me I would run for president and make congress miserable. I would be on TV every month addressing the American public on each issue I am trying to get congress to face up to. Part of the problem is how misinformed and apathetic Americans really are about the problems we face.

If I thought for a second I could do something I would. I just do not have the money or the influence!
