Some girl who is jellous of my daughter created a myspace account and
placed my daughter's picture on it. The title reads F--- Niggas who Think They Don't Need a B---- Like Me. she also placed bulletins which include my daughter's real phone number and it states if you want a good time halla cuz i don't care what you look like. what action or can i take any against her. the temple policeman said it is a civil matter and i have to take her to court. which means to me a lot of $ for nothing, |

joyce, this things happen a lot on myspace, and anyone with your info
can do this things, it is a civil matter and you should talk to your lawyer before taking action |

Nothing unless they have laws pertaining to cyber-bullying...BUT you may
be able to pursue it on the grounds of harassment or something similar...Consult a lawyer or someone familar about your state laws and go from there!!!!!!! I had something similar happen to my daughter and I was able to have those girls charged...Because there are cyber-bullying laws in place here now because it has become so prominent!!!!!!!!

If it is a local girl to you you may want to consider talking to the
local police about it as having ratial slurs in there might be looked at a differnt way in your area. They may look at it as a hate crime which puts it into the crimal system and may carry mandatory punishment. In most cases if your dealing with juveniles I would think a visit to a parent form a cop would get the page removed pretty fast. |

do they attend school ? you could try talking to the school if they go
to the same school (if she is even school age ) my daughter is sleeping right now or i would ask her what happened with a situation that occured at her school it was the same sort of thing slander on my space I will ask her in the am ,,see if she has an idea  i would try some childrens help lines maybe , i know there is one in Canada on bullying issues , even if she is a young adult they may have some insight |
