so im wanting to get a poem possibly tattood. im in no rush but would like ideas of a font that may look nice or if anyone knows of a website that may have fonts.

Buddy of mine got the last set of "The Raven" tattooed on his back, with ravens tattooed around it, it was kinda cool.

that sounds awesome actually yeah i want something unique and thinking on my side(rib area) or my back shoulder thing is i have back piercings and thinking a tattoo there may be too much?

Something in a script, feminine like you appear to be. Bet you could goggle 'fonts' and find many, many to chose from. There was one I used to use in emails that I really liked but alas my current carrier is very limited and I can't remember what it was called...Lucinda maybe?

I have several different fonts on my tats. I have an excerpt from Whitman in Typewriter (I don't know if that's what it's called, but it's the stereotypical typewriter font). I have one in Dublin, which I really like. It's pretty plain but has some character. Then I have two more with a little more embellishment, but those are all caps. Academy and Monastery...but I don't recall what their lower cases look like.

Also, see if you can go into a shop and look through a font book. Most shops will have one and let you poke around at it.

yeah that wouldn't work lol. i have four of them two a lilttle below the neck and two more sort of diagnol a little hard to describe but a tattoo there i may actually cry lol

I think you should get it on the outside of your thigh. Ive seen alot of poem work done on the back and the ribs.

Any kind of writing you want on a smooth surface and not anywhere that is boney. Make sure you pick a tattoo artist who has done a lot of script and not one who you just like their art work.

As for a font... check out Vivaldi

ha you read my mind lol i actually typed it into word and that is what i printed out lol i have a tatto artist i love who im gonna see for fonts but i really like vivaldi is pretty but not too dainty. im excited

the foot hurts like hell too, too many bones there, or nerves or something. i got my ankle done and the process wasn't bad, but the healing, omg, it killed!

LOL, I am a wuss. I was brave when he was doing it, he said I'm the only one who didn't throw a fit. But I had to walk on it until it healed and I wanted to cry. But now it's all lovely so it was totally worth it.

I just got my third tattoo on Sunday. It was the one year anniversary of his death and my daughter and I both got a dragonfly on our right foot. My husband loved dragonflies.
