Too danged hot for coffee. Still a pretty cool day. Doing some chores. Played with my idiot dogs. Then watched a bobcat trying to catch a chapparell (road runner) for about 5 minutes right by my house. Very cool!

The bob cat was a big one but, the road runner was just toying with it. Really neat to watch....they are both beautiful animals. The road runner would leap out of the mesquite trees...run through the sage and cactus with the cat in hot pursuit only to leap and glide into another tree. The bob would scramble up the tree only to have the chapparell jump to the ground and run it in circles.
