whether you have luck on online dating sites depends on who you are and what you're looking for. it also depends on the sort of site you're on. for me, this particular site is just a place to talk to people, so in that respect, yeah it works.

I have met some great people here (in real life as well) The guys I met and dated (2- One was serious one was not) are great guys and I am still friends with them, just wasn't right for me.
People tend to become very discouraged when a relationship doesn't work out. It's not the end of the world, just means that person isn't the right one for you. I don't understand why everyone takes it as "rejection", it just means your search for the right one can continue with less options
