My dad died when I was 19, up till that day I sat in his lap on occasion, I hugged and gave him a kiss hello and goodbye every single day.. I was a huge daddy's girl.. It wasn't anything weird, we were a very close family.. My mom still plays with my hair while sitting next to me when she sees me..

Unless it's a European standard of monetary value, no...

I wouldn't worry since his daughter lives so far away how often do they get to see each other. And that just shows that they have a great father/daughter relationship.

I think the fact that her mind even goes there is sickening. Does she think fathers are incapable of giving and receiving affection from their children? If I was with a woman whose mind automatically went to such a place and I found about it I would relieve her of the worry. I'd deep six her azz in a NY minute.

Perhaps she received no such affection from her father, so she has no experience in the matter.

 this is why I am so crazy about you!

Even at my age not touching feeling kissing. Holding my dad would kill me and all my girls total smother their dad and he loves it!!

And I know the closeness between you and your girls!

That story is so damn sad!

I know someone that is engaged to a great guy. He has an adult daughter that lives 1400 miles away. The daughter is visiting him now. My friend said that when they all go out somewhere (like the grocery store, etc...) the father and daughter are all huggy, huggy, and almost look like they are a couple (my friend ends up walking behind). I didn't believe it until I saw them at an ice cream stand hugging with her head on his shoulder and his head on hers (not just for a second either). What do you all think about this? Should she worry?
creepy.....scared

Nope....not from Kentucky rofl

Oh and here's an update.....My friend walked into her bedroom and there they were laying on the bed rubbing all over each other. Maybe I'm wrong but I just don't think it's right no matter what the age. Very inapropriate. And once again it has NOTHING to do with my friend being jealous or insecure.

Speaking from experience. If your friend has the heebie jeebies then she should listen to that internal protection advice and keep her eyes and ears open.

I'm gonna send you an email.
