I'm a city girl.
I'd be happy with one of those fantastic bungalow houses in the hollywood hills with a little gated fence. there would be CG carved into the wood of a floor panel somewhere. massive bougainvillea in the front covering the perimeter wall... a small trickling fountain in the front lawn. a small.. 1 car garage. wood floors, tons of windows, beautiful lil bedrooms looking out onto the pool in the back yard. one would be converted into a sewing room, one into a giant closet. a gas stove and a cast iron hot plate to make tortillas on. i fireplace, that burns real wood and bakes bread, and a bathroom that would put all bathrooms to shame. glass shower, giant claw footed tub, iranian mosaic tiling on the floor and walls. hammered copper sinks and a bench lined against the far wall to sit in the steam and contemplate. pictures of art and my family scattered throughout the house and a little dog and a big fat cat to keep my company. i want my home. |

I was in an antique store today and saw an incredible table with ornate carvings around the outside edge and legs carved in the shape of lions. It was only 24k too. lol Unless I win the lottery or our economy really tanks and inflation goes through the roof, I don't see myself ever buying a table for 24k, but since this is a dream house I would have one.

I dont know how much I care about what the outside looks like, or know what I want exactly there..
I like roman style houses, terra cotta roofs. I like collums also. I would really just like a house with alot of open space, but comfort items everywhere. Cozy. I like for the inside an art deco feel, classic, simplictic, practical, mixed with a zen feel. I like blacks, and and earthtones most of all. I would like some kind of a water fixture to create the sound of water, maybe a water wall. A bath thats big enough for 2 and has nice jets, and a stand alone shower, thats clear, but roman, so you step down a few steps into it. A nice powder room, with natural light, and plenty of space, with beautiful vanities. A Huge comfy bed, with sexy pillows that have soft, velvety textures, and angels all throughout my house. I for sure would love a comfortable kitchen, that has a nice sized island in the middle, and flat cooktop stoves. I would like a nice back patio set with beautiful furniture, and plenty of cover, I would also love a nice grilling area, and possibly a fire pit. I love those big huge fridges, and freezers that are metal looking. The professional ones. Its a mixed bag, I love marble, and terrazzo floors too too.. I have no idea how I would put all this together. |
