Topic: Will power | |
---|---|
Fourth day straight painting, wanted it done and knew it was going to be a big job...nowhere near finished and running out of motivation. Won't have more than my usual one day off at a time till who knows when. So must keep at it this afternoon, need motivation!!!
Plus it is a beautiful day here and my ex wants me to come over to swim in his pool. He has ulterior motives of course but that is his problem. Wouldn't I love to play instead of paint this afternoon before my going back for my 13 hour day tomorrow.... The choices we make..... |

Your will power is so much less effective than your imagination

What are you painting? hall with five doors and window, living room wall with two windows! All paneled, the ridges between the 'boards' are so hard. Paint is going easier than the primer did but a long slow job it is. Where are your friends when you need them !!!!! LOL |

What are you painting? Hahaha, painting my body would take more like 4 mins than 4 days!! Nice thought though, more fun even than going swimming and having to put up with idiot!!!! |

Stay at it Sea. You will feel such a sense of accomplishment and love the results to boot. And as far as the "ex" using HIS pool? I'm sorry Officer, he must not have been a very good swimmer.

Ooooo, I know panelling is hard to paint. I used one of those little rollers, the half things, with a thicker nap... then went over it again with a quick layer of paint on the full sized roller. But thankfully my current place has no panelling....
Think how proud you'll be when it's over. |

To fuuuuuny! He sure thinks he's all that!! I am going back to it as soon as I do my lunch/supper dishes. REally do want as much done as possible cause after today I will only have a few hours on otherwise busy days off. Wish I believed it would be done today but I know better...big sigh. |

But thankfully my current place has no panelling.... Think how proud you'll be when it's over. the hardest for me is cutting in the panEling against the molding, pushing the paint into the ridges always gets it on the molding, endless touching up....Thanks for the tips. If I ever move again - number one rule is NO PANELING! |
