hey ((pals)) sherry (dragonfly)) called shell be here in a few hours they had to stay over last night because of the storm but they are good sherrys hinnie is sore other than that every thing is good i got the room all fixed up for them Wanda,Maybe you need to get a pillow ready for her to sit on. NO BIKE FOR ME,NO WAY... ya shell need something soft for sure

Okay, August Pals have been sent out. We only had 12 this time around. If you did not get assigned a pal it is because I was not aware you were planning to participate. You need to let me know each month or that you want to participate every month. I am going to put the pals on hold for Oct, Nov and Dec due to the extra holiday expenses and extra errands and family stuff we all have at that time, so we can do the Christmas Card Exchange again this year. I'll start it back up in January

Okay, here's how this works. Towards the end of every month I will ask for folks to be Secret Pals to someone for the following month. Presently, I am seeking Secret Pals for September. If you would like to participate, write me and give me your home address. Once I have the names of all who would like to participate for that month, I will assign secret pals. You must be willing to share your home address You are to send the person I assign you for that month a surprise, i.e., a card, a note, a refrigerator magnet, a bookmark, a lottery ticket, a postcard.... anything specific to that member or your area would be great, but it can be whatever you choose. Because of issues with packages crossing the borders and the cost involved I'm afraid I have to limit this to the US only. The list will change monthly, so if you want to participate again the following month, you must write me and let me know you want to participate again. This is a good reason to start a scrap book! When you receive something from your secret pal, come back here and let us know.

I know I said in the previous post I was going stop this Oct thru Dec and start again in January, but I really feel like there is a lack and a loss of interest in this and folks are not enjoying it as much anymore, so September Pals will be the last month for this. I still plan on doing the Christmas Card Exchange, starting in November. Thank you to all of you who participated regularly and made this such a long-running success. It has been a pleasure to meet you all and share in your lives. I hold you all dear in my heart

there's no way to save it Nope, not at this point. I cannot help if you do not receive from your pal, it's the chance you take, but I'm pretty much done with the e-mails from folks who are unhappy with this at this point, so I am done. It's unfortunate to those who are sincere here and have made this a success, but I am finished receiving e-mails from folks who some how think I have control over the folks who do not follow through. I wish you all well.
