I believe that the criteria is just people who fall into your search settings. So, if you have your criteria set to women from 18-25 within 10 miles of your zip, anyone falling into that range with a photo on their profile will be presented as a mutual match candidate.

how does the criteria for this work? sometimes when i click to find mutual matches it has people and other times it doesnt. if someone comes up on mutual match does that mean that they mutual matched me? if anyone has any insight as to how this feature works let me know thanks I always thought it was randomly generated, kind of just popping a few names into your profile to show someone out there in the realm of the internet is actually interested in meeting you...regardless of if they really exist or not... |

then how does it show up to other people who i mutual match? If you click yes or maybe, then the other person gets an email that says something along the lines of "someone wants to meet you". It doesn't tell them who, so they won't know that it's you. If they happen to click yes or maybe on your profile, then you're a "mutual match". |
