Strawberry Dessert


Ingredients:

* Pre-Baked Pie Crust, Cooled
* 3/4 cup Boiling Water
* 1 package (4 serving size) Strawberry Jell-O
* 1 tsp Grated Fresh Lime Peel
* 1/2 cup Lime Juice
* 1 1/2 cups Heavy Whipping Cream
* 3/4 cup 10x Sugar
* 1 pint Slightly Crushed Strawberries
* Strawberry Halves

Preparation:

1. Pre-bake pie crust; cool. (you can substitute a graham cracker pie crust)

2. Pour boiling water on jello in large bowl; stir until jello is dissolved. Stir in lime peel and lime juice. Refrigerate about 1 hour or until very thick but not set.

3. Beat jello mixture with electric mixer on high speed about 4 minutes, scraping bowl occasionally, until thick and fluffy; set aside.

4. Beat whipping cream and powdered sugar in chilled large bowl on high speed until stiff. Gently stir whipped cream and crushed strawberries into gelatin mixture. Pour into pie crust.

5. Refrigerate about 3 hours or until set. Garnish with whipped cream and strawberry halves.

Guaranteed to have them asking for more! :wink:

you also can change the ingredient for sugerfree
by using sugerfree jello, lite whipping cream, and sugertwin or frutose, and instead of having a pre bake pie crust you can make your own out of graham cracker
