What are the things that you would NOT wish for? I would NOT wish to be the hairiest person ever! |

Would not wish that animals ruled the earth instead of people.
Would not wish that most things taste just like turnips (instead of tasting like chicken.) Would not wish that coffee was made from Lima beans! I sure as hell would NOT wish that men could get pregnant!! |

We have all seen many threads of "If you had 3 wishes" over and over and over-what would you want..
As if people can't just be happy with what they have. Want,, want,, want Thought it might be interesting to see what people DON"T want. Maybe I should have said.. You must get rid of 5 things that are currently in your house.. What 5 things could you live without?? And What are 5 things that you could not live without?? |

Although most people say no sickness, accidents, or death, I would have to say that these things need to be in place to have the continual cycle of life and death. So even though they have to be, I would "not want" them to happen to children first of all, and for there to be at least limited pain and suffering for the rest.
I would "not want" to have all the money in the world. I have always said that money is the worst thing invented, but, since it is a necessity, I am happy with having what I need, and a little extra for the ones I love from time to time. I do "not want" the war crap to continue. War is idiotic. Yes, many believe that it is a necessity, and the way the world's mentality is...yes, it is, BUT, if everyone would just mind their own business, take care of their own responsibilities and people, concentrate more on ways to improve and build on their lives, communities, and countries, and work things out in ways that don't involve such drastic confrontation, we wouldn't have war, and we wouldn't have to involve, and lose so many innocent people, not to mention the monumental destruction. |

I would not wish to be rich or successful. I would much rather try and get there by my own merits. Even if I never achieve it, I will be happier striving for it than voluntarily giving up my sense of purpose. I would not wish to be famous. I value my privacy and I like having a small group of friends I know I can trust. I doubt either of those things could exist if I were a public icon. I would not wish for true love. I'd miss out on all the things that precede a serious relationship... getting to know each other, coming to trust each other. The first kiss. First time making love. And all the other firsts that come with it. If I came in at the middle I'd always wonder how the story should have begun. I would not wish for world peace, and that's already been covered. I would not wish for outer beauty because if you don't feel beautiful then its a self-esteem problem and no amount of physical alteration is likely to change that. I would wish to live the best possible version of my life from this day forth. EXCEPT I don't need a wish to do that. And neither does anybody else. |
