I would say depends on what the person is looking for.
If its a man looking for a hook up then yes the internet dating is geared toward them. But women are most often found on the internet dating sites looking for actual love and long term relationships. |

Dating sites are nothing more than a means to an end. However, I've found that a great many of them seem to cater more toward the ladies than the men, from the overall look of the sites, to the kinds of topics in the forums.

I kinda go with "more geared towards to make money". Back in a day i tried a few, and sometimes I actually felt like they are either withholding emails or trying to slow down finding someone, since once you find someone , you'll leave the site and cancel the service, and that is something they don't really want you to do.

Most advertisements I see for dating sites have a huge majority of females (and cater to a very narrow view of attactive to boot). Quite an indicator. One of the reasons I joined this site is cause I saw real people on the tease page. |

Maybe we can get layed easier, the challenges are the same when it comes to matters of the heart.
