they have new ones out now that use l.e.d.s instead of fluorescent. supposed to use even less energy. . . . |

There is a bigger difference in the summer because the old ones put out a lot of heat that the a/c has to remove.

i don't save all that much money by using them because i very rarely turn lights on even at night. but they do seem to last longer, as promised.
right now my monitor is the only light source in the house and a stupid little bug keeps flying at it. ok, he's not doing it anymore but i need to wipe off my monitor. |

Im a dim light person myself. I have 1 small lamp on right now and my night light in the hallway cause Im afraid of the dark ok???
