Trying to think of something to make, something different from the usual. I don't have a whole lot available though doesn't seem like, but I'd just like to try something different for once. Anybody got some good ideas?

BLT and fries!

Maybe, you know what frustrates me though. My family is content with eating the same processed stuff day after day, or going to restaurants and getting one thing or another. Well you know what I'm not, and I get frustrated it seems like options are always limited because of them. Anytime I want to do something different, they get all mad, that I can't do this or that, well why the hell not?

Ok I'm done ranting I think, just had to get that off my chest.

No celery though so have to forego that but worth a shot.

Im having steak with mashed potatoes, and probably some green beans, and water.

You know, I cut out other drinks besides water, and use fakey sugar for the coffee, and I lost 15 pounds so far.. well, plus I let the dogs help me with my dinner, so I dont eat as much. NICE.

I drink a lot of water too, I remember when I cut out soda few years ago, lost like 20 lbs. I'd be careful with that fakey sugar though as you put it, it's no good for you. Research the stuff and you'll see what I mean, it's really a poison to the body, the splenda and aspartane products.

Know what you mean about likeing variety. My Dad has gotten a little better about what he will eat but it could be wider. I finally just started making what I want and he doesn't want it he can make himself a pb&j sandwich. One of my treats ia a small bag of shrimp I keep in the freezer. He won't touch it but it gives me a little variety on salads or in pasta.
