2 years ago I started chatting with a lady from another site, we became very close friends, have never met in person because she is almost a thousand miles away. we have since..both left that site. We exchanged snail mail addresses and phone numbers, When either of us are missing the conversation and laughs, we pick up the phone. Most calls last 1-3 hours.. just to say hi, for laughs or to do repairs on her computer.... Just as friends. It is in no way about a relationship or sex! She even tells me about her dates and so on. So being friends with someone of the opposite sex does not have to be about sex, and yes missing someone you have never met does happen all of the time. BTW.. I also recently invited her here, she has only posted a few times in the forums, I don't think I will open my friends list to the public so you can know who she is. But I wish her the best of luck here, and if some good guy close to her don't latch onto her, it is his loss, she is a fantastic gal! |

Instead you can only wish to meet them. If you miss someone then your mind has already skipped the "meeting" process, regardless if you have seen their face in person. So, my answer is no you cannot miss someone you have not met because if your heart - body - mind and soul misses them then you have already met them. Whether or not you will admit it to yourself

i miss the idea of them. what i fantasize them to be.
they are really good too. i mean they are excellent in my mind! 
i miss looking at their pictures too!
