I'm a woman, I like makeup OCCASIONALLY, but I don't wear it often.

From a woman's POV: Its too much when its too obvious. I do light
foundation/powder (minimal, thin coat), bronzer (love my bronzer, great
as neutral blush and eyeshadow) a small swipe of mascara, and a neutal
lip shade. I like my red lips once in blue moon, but rarely. My
favorite lipsticks you can't even see if you aren't right up on me. I
prefer clear to very slightly tinted glosses over lipsticks.

I hate seeing girls and women who have on 50lbs of makeup caked on.

In your case love, sounds like u just met a very insecure **** who dont'
know how to act around a good looking woman.

OH, and my brands: I see it like this if I can't get it for less then $5
a pop, I don't want it. there is no point in spending more on makeup
then I do on bills. THOSE kinds of girls p1$$ me off... Anyway, I use
Cover Girl and Rimmel of London. Both on walmart shelves, and work well
together. I have an inbetween skintone and I mix Rimmel's Sandstorm
with Cover Girl's buff beige and I get the perfect invisble shade for my
skin. Rimmels pressed powder (for winter) is the best traslucent I've
found and CG has the best loose powder (doesn't clog pores as bad in
summer). I do like my makeup, lol, I am great at doing it on other ppl.
I just don't do it often on myself. I've learned that I look pretty
darn good with no makeup... that seems to be when I get hit on the most.
