Update: I am not motivated to ask her out anymore. I asked her out again but she said she was busy. I am taking that as a sign that she is not interested anymore. I am going to try to move on. I feel like crap right now. Only time will heal. Are there any single females around Chicago? I need to take my mind off of her and move on. :( Well, sorry about that. Piece of advice? Telling other women you want to date them so you can forget about another woman is NEVER a good idea

#1 Always a bad idea to date the people you work with.
#2 Leave her alone. She sounds like a nice girl who cares enough about herself to not go out with a tool. Leave her for a good guy who deserves a good woman and knows how to treat her. |

I think when you "lost" her phone number the first time, you should have listened to your inner voice telling you that you were just interested in her because she MIGHT be interested in you. You were not vested in any of this. It was a bit of a game. Live and learn.
