I mean... my grandmother (god rest her soul) used to tear through the streets of Hampshire, Illinois in her Buick LeSalle! And why was that? Because others in her age-group were driving the same car, that's what!

I could understand Government Motors offing Oldsmobile when they did. I can understand them getting rid of Saturn. I could even understand them selling Hummer. But I have a hard time believing that Buick was a more-popular car than Pontiac. I mean... I see three-times the number of Pontiacs than Buicks, so how cal the latter survive while Pontiac goes the way of the do-do?
