About men who have kids and are a big part of their life?

It doesn't bother me one bit. I'm a single mom (although my baby is now 18) I would treat the dad with the same respect I would want to be treated with

If I got into a relationship with a man with children I would expect nothing less than him being devoted to his children, if he weren't I wouldn't want him. It's a sign of a good man. (imho)

I respect stand-up fathers – mothers too!
Kids are THE most important part of a parent's life.
I don't want kids -- of my own -- or someone else's; therefore I don't date men with kids (of any age). That is not my lifestyle, and I’ve never had an interest in children. Heck, I’ve never even babysat or held a child. I just don’t have that instinct. 
I wish single parents success, safety, and sanity in the dating world. I'm sure the sacrifice is huge.

Ok, I'm going on a limb here. I don't want to date a man with kids. Because I am selfish and I want all the attention on ME. I have a kid I will share if he wants one so bad
 . Also, I don't want to have to deal with psycho ex's.

Also, I don't want to have to deal with psycho ex's. This is another side of the issue! I hear HORROR stories about psycho ex's -- from both men and women. NO way! NO thanks!

I have raised my children semi successfully, well they lived through it anyway so I am not looking for a mothering position in a relationship now.
But men should always be a part of their children's lives and they should always put their children above any woman in their lives, just like women should do with their children. It means he is a responsible loving parent so it is a good thing. |

You want a woman that embraces you and your kids.

i think guys who love their kids and want to spend time with them are the cream of the crop. there is nothing more attractive than seeing the love a man has for his children

Wow, that is harsh. No one is a bad person because they don't date people with kids. 
Not all people that don't want kids are selfish. I volunteer and attempt to make a difference in other ways. I’m sure others react in kind. You can't attack everyone that is different from you. Life is full of diversity!

I dont nessasarily look for it specificly, but I think its awesome, and a definite plus.  Awesome.

Sorry if you don't like my opinion, but I am far from self centered. You don't know me at all. I don't want any more kids of my own. As a matter of fact I have an appointment in the morning to get my surgery set up for a tubal. Get over it. |

It's quite ok, he can have that opinion. He must be angry about something else in his life.
