seems like when i meet someone on here all is well, and then al the sudden the persons just dissapers forever why?

Did you ever see the movie Chinatown? At the end Jake is told that things happen because "This is Chinatown." Well "This is the internet." People are a largely disposable commodity here.

I like to think of it like this: If you go to a party, and you dont know anyone there, more likely you circulate to get to know folks. Some you figure you never want to talk to again and others you think, hummm, maybe I will get back to them later. Then there is that one person you still want to talk to and havent yet.
Either that or those other folks got stuck in the "poof" factor. Its an unexplaned mingle occurrance. |
