Police said McNair suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the head in downtown Nashville. The incident happened near 2nd South & Lea Avenue. A female victim was also found dead. According to Don Aaron with the Metro Nashville Police Department, no suspects have been taken into custody. Several people were being taken to police headquarters for questioning.

Sad day,I put him right behind Warren Moon for black qb's.I never saw a tougher guy back there.

Sad day,I put him right behind Warren Moon for black qb's.I never saw a tougher guy back there. Mcnabb,Doug williams,randal cunningham .He was a very respectable and well liked guy though.Gonna be sad to hear what really happend

Sad day,I put him right behind Warren Moon for black qb's.I never saw a tougher guy back there. Mcnabb,Doug williams,randal cunningham .He was a very respectable and well liked guy though.Gonna be sad to hear what really happend Mcnabb was a ball hog,McNair wasn't.he only ran with it if he seen he needed to.i'm not a Titans fan but i truly wanted to see them win the superbowl

he was a damned good player and one of my ex's faves. not really mine.. but i gotta give props where its deserved. its soo unfortunate that 2 lives were taken in such a heinous way. yeah two. see.. she died too.. damn. its a sad day in football.

No doubt. He had unbelievable heart. But McNabb was never a ball hog???? He just never had anyone to throw to early in his career..........Thrash, Pinkston, Charles Johnson, Torrence Smalls..............No one. Really.....
