So few see what I see
So few know what I know So few get what is happening Does anyone understand? The world around us is crumbling The lies and deceit loom large in number The powerful and rich run the show Does anyone understand? Day by day, we live our lives Oblivious to what is going on around us Like sheep in the herd, we follow the rest Does anyone understand? I wish for something better then this I wish for something more then what I've known I wish for a different world Does anyone understand? |

Why yes I do understand, I also understand that there is good medication for that, which will help make you feel better and stop worrying that others don't see what you see.

I think it's pretty safe to say that not only do we all understand, we probably see pretty much the same thing you see - the world crumbling around us. Anarchy and armegeddon. But look harder... you'll see something beautiful beyond that....you just need to look.... |

Yes, hon, most people do see it, that's why there is depression and despair and people blowing things up, they just can't handle it. I am alot older than you and granted I have never been homeless but I don't have much. And I had a man want to give me everything, and that didn't work for me, but ya know what, I am happy. I know God and I think he knows me, there is no easy answers, we all must find in life that which makes us move forward, even if tomorrow is our last day. We must look for the good, and there are those who will tear you down, even if you build a castle, but you will find happiness. It's in the song of the bird, the running of the stream, the sun coming up over the horizon which you can see, it's in the baby's breath, even among anachary, there is beauty. Even when you want to rage against the machine, there is beauty. It's everywhere, yes, we see what you see.
