Topic: Limbaugh talks about Michael Jackson | |
---|---|
Here's what Limbaugh said:
Michael Jackson's biggest successes, and as it turns out his final successes, real successes took place in the eighties. That was Billie Jean, Thriller and all this. I mean he was as weird as he could be but he was profoundly, because of his weirdness, an individual. He wasn't a group member. He reached a level of success that may never be equaled. He flourished under Reagan; he languished under Clinton-Bush; and died under Obama. Let's hope the parallel does not continue. I did just say it. You want me to go back and say it again? Okay, Michael Jackson's a weirdo. As such he was a supreme individual. I mean, he defined individuality. Not a group member. He reached a level of success that may never be equaled. He flourished under Reagan, languished under Clinton and Bush, and died under Obama. I mean facts are facts, the timeline is the timeline, let's hope the parallel doesn't continue. Now, I meant to get into this yesterday, ladies and gentlemen. This is from State-Run Associated Press. By the way, you know something I've noticed? You should look for this, folks. You might have trouble finding it. You have to trust me. More and more -- (interruption) what do you mean you can't believe I said it? I said it twice. What about it is not true? What about what I said is not true? He flourished under Reagan, languished under Clinton and Bush, that's bipartisan, got a Republican and Democrat in there, and died under Obama. Michael Jackson died during the era of the first black president. You want me to say it that way? Now, don't interrupt me anymore. I'm doing a program here. This is the problem when the host and the boss, I, give access to the staff members to me via IFB intercom that you can't hear. So first we're saying the parallel lies in the administration during Jackson's life, and then we're attributing his death to Obama. Wonderful. Rush Limbaugh Detained With Viagra
CBS/AP) Rush Limbaugh could see a deal with prosecutors in a long-running prescription fraud case collapse after authorities found a bottle of Viagra in his bag at Palm Beach International Airport. The prescription was not in his name. Limbaugh was detained for more than three hours Monday at the airport after returning from a vacation in the Dominican Republic. Customs officials found the Viagra in his luggage but his name was not on the prescription, said Paul Miller, a spokesman for the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office. Miller said the alleged violation could be a second-degree misdemeanor. The sheriff's office was investigating and will soon turn the case over to the state attorney's office, which had no immediate comment Tuesday. Under the deal reached last month with prosecutors, Limbaugh was not to be arrested for any infraction for 18 months in exchange for authorities deferring a charge of "doctor shopping." Prosecutors had alleged the conservative talk-show host illegally deceived multiple physicians to receive overlapping painkiller prescriptions. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Limbaugh Jokes 'How Did I Get Bob Dole's Luggage?' -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Limbaugh also must submit to random drug tests and continue treatment for his admitted addiction to painkillers. Limbaugh's doctor had prescribed the Viagra, but it was "labeled as being issued to the physician rather than Mr. Limbaugh for privacy purposes," Roy Black, Limbaugh's attorney, said in a statement. U.S. Customs and Border Protection examined the 55-year-old radio commentator's luggage after his private plane landed at the airport, Miller said. Investigators confiscated the drugs, which treat erectile dysfunction. Limbaugh was released without being charged. For now, Limbaugh is joking about his brush with the law. He joked about the search on his radio show Tuesday, saying Customs officials didn't believe him when he said he got the pills at the Clinton Library and he was told they were blue M&Ms. He later added, chuckling: "I had a great time in the Dominican Republic. Wish I could tell you about it." http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2006/06/27/national/main1753947.shtml Child Prostitution The Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children Dominican Republic [ Country-by-Country Reports ] The Dominican Republic [map], West Indies, is located on the eastern two thirds of the island of Hispaniola. Its capital and largest city is Santo Domingo. Although the country has long been viewed primarily as an exporter of sugar, coffee, and tobacco, in recent years the service sector has overtaken agriculture as the economy's largest employer, due to growth in tourism and free trade zones. The country suffers from marked income inequality; the poorest half of the population receives less than one-fifth of GNP, while the richest 10% enjoys nearly 40% of national income. well...let's take a look at how that Hope and Change is workin' for ya'...
Poll: Obama slipping further on economyposted at 1:35 pm on July 2, 2009 by Ed Morrissey Rasmussen’s new poll, taken before the release of June’s unemployment numbers, shows significant slippage for Barack Obama on the economy, his central issue. Only 42% of American voters give him excellent or good marks on handling the economy, the lowest ratings he has yet received. His personal approval rate has fallen to 53%, and the “passion index” has dropped to -2: The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Thursday shows that 33% of the nation’s voters now Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Thirty-five percent (35%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -2. This is the third straight day the Approval Index has been below zero (see trends). A Rasmussen video report notes that 42% now give the President good or excellent marks for handling the economy . That’s his lowest rating to date … Overall, 53% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the President’s performance so far. Forty-six percent (46%) disapprove. Obama has hit a new high among those rating him fair or poor on the economy at 56%. Just a week ago, 47% approved of his economic policies, as opposed to 50% disapproval, a margin of 3% — a statistical dead heat. Obama had been seen more favorable than not on the economy as late as the second week of May, when he held a 51%-48% advantage. The demographics of his decline portend more bad news for Obama and his Democratic allies in Congress. Only the youngest voters support him on fiscal policy, and only barely, 52%-46%. Every other age demographic above 30 years of age has majorities now showing disapproval. Independents have begun to run away in massive numbers; they now oppose him 75%-23%, a huge break away from Obama and a sign that his supposed moderate stances have been exposed as shams. Every income level except the lowest also has majorities disapproving of his handling of the economy. Voters outside the “political class” oppose Obama 65%-33%. Obama doesn’t fare well on national security, either. Rasmussen reports that Obama only has 44% approval on these issues, and 55% opposing him. Majorities of both women and men view him disfavorably. Every income level has majorities opposed to Obama, and independents disapprove 68%-31%. Obama only wins within the $60K-$75K income level; even his base of support among the lowest income earners narrowly reject Obama’s national-security policies, 52%-47%. Obama isn’t just coming back to Earth in the polling. He’s losing independents and demonstrating his radical bent on policy, and more and more Americans have begun to see it |

Never heard of anyone being addicted to viagra. That would be a painful addiction. One of thought he'd take cialis so he could be ready anytime. After all when it comes to prostitutes, time is money.
