Nipple size is very important......   True...if you're nursing. My sister was beyond DD and could not nurse because her nipples were bigger than a lot of A cups' whole breasts. I'm a D, and I haven't heard anyone complaining about it. Thats because you are as deaf as a post! Numero Uno advantage to getting older....you don't have to listen to a bunch of crap from smart-azz youngins. |

Maybe a woman could weigh in here and tell us just how the various cup sizes are defined. I mean, I look at a set...and they're big, small, nice, not so nice. But I have no idea what cup size I'm looking at. Seein that no one answered the question for ya Guido, I'm gonna. First ya gotta measure the chest just under the breast. This will tell u the bra size for example 36. Then u measure around the chest by goin around at the nips. The difference between the 2 measurements gives u the cup size. Sorry I don't know the exact algrebraic equation but there is abit of a science to it.

Ok... here's the "math" :
First, take the tape measure and measure around your body right under your breasts. This would be the area where your bra will strap around, the area right on top your rib cage. We'll call this Measurement 1. Now take the same measurement, but a little further up over the fullest part of your breast. This will help determine your cup size. We'll call this Measurement 2. Now, add 5 to Measurement 2. If it ends up an odd number, round up one. This is because bras only come in even numbers, and you'd rather have it a little big and be able to size it down than have it too tight around. In order to find your CUP size, you want to take the difference between Measurement 1 and Measurement 2. Use the information below to get an idea of your cup size: Less than 1/2 inch is an AA cup. 1/2 to 1 inch is an A cup. 1 to 2 1/2 inches is a B cup. 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 inches is a C cup. 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 inches is a D cup. 4 1/2 to 6 inches is a DD cup (or E). 6 to 7 inches is a DDD cup (or F). 7 to 8 inches is a G cup. |

I make it much easier. If it fits in my hand without spilling out all over the place, it's the right size. But that depends on the size of your hand.
