From July 23rd to August 22nd it is a ruby

Birthstones don't go by the same as zodiac from mid month to mid month. They go from for the entire month..Jan has one, Feb has one, etc. I've been googling it and to double check and everything states ruby. I knew it since my parents gave me an heirloom ring but had to check anyway.

Actually it is wrong to go by exact month to month, because stones are representations of characteristics and personalities. I don't use internet sources to get my information. Much of it is construed and unreliable. One doesn't determine a complete persons character by a month and just give them its stone. Each day is unique for an individual. There is alot more involved then this, but if you wish to be a ruby on July 4th then so be it.

The Celtic Druids used stones to make predictions before even looking up in the skies and I am using such information with other information at hand. Some of the ancient technics used at the moment predates Christianity.

I was actually looking to see if you had two stones, but it isn't the case. Some birthdays fall under two different stones even.
