Be glad you ain't here bro. My last ticket was 15 years ago...and do to new regulations and some major glitches in the DPS system..last year I got a letter saying they would suspend my liscence unless I attatched an SR-22 (signifying a high risk driver)to my insurance and upgraded to full coverage...for 5 years.

I flipped out (I took care of the ticket 13 years ago).

The police dept gave me an apology and all the paperwork to show I was clear.
So did the courts.
Hell, even my insurance company was stunned (and were nice enough to waive my fees for the SR-22.

But, the DPS refuses to even acknowledge the folder of paperwork I brought to them to verify my claim.

So, I have my liscence on the chopping block. The b*tch up at the DPS said "Oh, just do it" I told her straight up "Everyone acknowledges that all my court documents shows that I cleared this 13 years ago...You guys will still be threatening me 20 years after the fact" Her response..."Nothing I can do about it"...

So, from here on out, I keep that folder in my car.

You know, I always went to the DMV in Morris -- it was quick and easy and WAY better than the other ones I went to (Chicago Heights and Midlothian)....I would assume Joliet has their own but, knowing Joliet as I do, I would expect it to be a clusterfest....
