I don't watch the news at all anymore.

All the major news outlets are crap. They don't cover all the news and they are all biased. You would think with 24hour programming, you'd get a lot of news, but they have about an hours worth of news and then start again the next hour with same stories. If really want to keep up with what is going on in the world, you've got to be proactive. Unfortunately you cannot sit back at your couch and expect it all to come to you, you have go out and find it yourself through many different sources. Learn to recognize bias when you see it and how to filter it out.

The More you Watch, the Less You Know Americans who watch Fox Cable News are more likely to hold at least one of three major misconceptions about the Iraq war, according to a major poll done by the Program on International Policy Attitudes of the University of Maryland in College Park, and the polling firm, Knowledge Networks based in Menlo Park, Calif. The misconceptions are that Saddam had anything to do with September 11; that the US has found weapons of mass destruction in Iraq; and that the Iraq War was generally supported by other countries besides the US. I watch Fox and I don't believe any of that, of course I watch all the news stations really and piece together my own truth. |
