.......a little bit  , but in 1984, MJ was filming a commercial for Pepsi, and something went wrong with the special effects, and his hair actually caught fire - it was put out quickly.......THAT incident was what started all the MJ jokes......I remember it well - I was already an adult back then......yeah - they were making jokes about him before he became Plastic Man......
(and "Beat It" was his current hit at the time........) |
