Put the following in order of what thier importance are when looking for that special someone. Personality, common sense, intelligence, physical appearance, sense of humor, spontaneousness Intelligence Intelligence Intelligence Personality Physical Appearance Sense of Humor Spontaneousness Common Sense Lex, I thought I just had to like Cinnamon Poptarts and not want you to be a goat.

Truthfully, I can't put them in order of importance. I want them all and wouldn't exclude anyone based on a lesser percentage of any of them.
For example if they were 80% attractive but 7% personality, I wouldn't be interested even if I rated appearance my number 1 priority. If you add analytical to the list, I might just make someone's.

Ah, but most are already IN one....! And have no desire to see anything past the bottom of the lid.... Only you,one of the most intellegent person here,would have a comment to this. What makes a person be who they are? What makes a person so smart,an if at any given time do they have the right to judge? An what we do in the middle,is what a person learns. We're born oneway,an we die oneway! Have you taken the time to learn from another,the most simplest things in life. The cover of a book is just a cover sometimes 
We all judge -- some of us are just more willing to admit it. We're judging -- take that word to mean whatever you like -- every time we read and post in the forums. Assessments. Conclusions. There are lots of synonyms. Good/bad? Desirable/undesirable? Matchable/unmatchable? But it is in our ephemeral and arbitrary natures to have different standards from each other. Why is this seen as "judging," in the negative connotation of the term? Why is this a bad thing? It's not a bad thing at all! You just seem to be looking for a perfect match! What is a perfect Match? With one whom you can communicate with. Attraction? This online thing is different to most! When someone meets me,they say you do look like your picture. an then my reply back is ...you think
an then all things go hand an hand. The words someone might write,or the picture they give! comes down to a meeting, an really seeing a person eye to eye!!! |

an then all things go hand an hand. The words someone might write,or the picture they give! comes down to a meeting, an really seeing a person eye to eye!!! Well, I really don't think there is such a thing as a "perfect match." If there is, I've already met her, dated her on and off for 10 years, and somehow managed to screw it up. At this point, I'm just looking for someone compatible. And it looks more and more like there is only one person who can ever fill that bill! |

"Faith," to me, is error. I invite judgment -- because it gives me the opportunity to ask the judges just WHERE their assessments come from.... And most of the time, they don't even know. Reflexive, knee-jerk reactions. You get to see how little "thinking" really goes into the "thinking process"....! I am not a goat. What concern of mine the judgment of goats? Skipping personality since I think that's what some of the other qualities are.
Common Sense Sense of Humor Intelligence Physical appearance Spontaneousness I'd also like to add "Down to earth" and "Laid Back". I'm not sure where, but I'm getting the impression they're pretty important. |
