I never did see the big deal with his arrest. Wasn't he arrested essential for getting off at an adult theater? So what. I imagine he was not the first or last to do that in such a theater.

But he was on a kids show.. that's just not good for his reputation... it's ok though cause now he's been doing a few movies and he's cooler now I think |

I was reading his wiki and it says that he has written two new Pee Wee movie scripts and expects to get a deal on one of them very soon.

Reubens once called his first script The Pee-wee Herman Story,[38] describing it as a black comedy. He has also referred to the script as "dark Pee-wee" or "adult Pee-wee",[12] with the plot involving Pee-wee becoming famous as a singer after making a hit single and moving to Hollywood, where "he does everything wrong and becomes a big jerk".[81] Reubens further explained the film has many "Valley of the Dolls moments".[60] Reubens thought this script would be the first one to start production, but in 2006 Reubens announced he was to start filming his second script in 2007.[12]
The second film, a family friendly adventure, is called by Reubens Pee-wee's Playhouse: The Movie,[24][82] and follows Pee-wee and his Playhouse friends on a road-trip adventure, meaning that they would leave the house for the first time and go out into "puppet land". All of the original characters of the show, live-action and puppets, are included in Reubens' script. The story happens in a fantasy land that would be reminiscent of H.R. Pufnstuf and The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.[81] In January 2009, Reubens told Gary Panter that the "Pee-wee's Big Adventure"'s rejected first script (which they co-wrote) could have a movie deal very soon, and that it would be "90 minutes of incredible beauty".[83] |

I like the second idea better... the first one seems kinda dark and creepy and since he has a bad reputation in that dept it might not be so good lol |

It's funny how Pee Wee Herman did become an icon for children, because originally he was a character aimed at adults. The Pee Wee Herman Show(1981)featured adult humor(for instance, Pee Wee putting a mirror on his shoe so he could look up one of the female character's skirts)

Pee Wees Playhouse was a degenerate show with a bunch of sexual undertones. Didn´t he always want to ride the cowboy´s horsey or was it riding the cowboy piggyback??
I loved him..... |
